What is System Prompt?
A special message at the start of a conversation that sets the model's behavior, persona, and constraints. Processed before user messages. Not visible to the user in most UIs. Defines what the model should and shouldn't do, its tone, format preferences, and domain focus. Different from user prompts -- system prompts are set by the developer.
