What is Cosine Similarity?
The cosine of the angle between two vectors: dot(a, b) / (||a|| * ||b||). Ranges from -1 (opposite) to 1 (identical direction). Ignores magnitude, only cares about direction. The standard similarity metric for embeddings and semantic search.
